A mother from Alabama was taken into custody after two kilograms of cocaine were discovered in the backpack of her three-year-old child.

An Alabama mother, 35 years old, was taken into custody after local sheriff’s deputies discovered “large amounts of cocaine” during a search warrant. The illegal substance was found in the bag of her child, who was three years old, and it was worth thousands of dollars.

An information source provided the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office with information regarding the substantial quantities of cocaine that were found at a residence, as stated in a press release issued by the department. According to the sheriff’s office, narcotics investigators then set up surveillance and claimed that they spotted the woman leaving the location.

After following the woman in a car that was clearly marked, the detectives eventually stopped the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the stop, the police discovered a firearm, a minor amount of marijuana, and 1.5 kilograms of cocaine in the vehicle that the woman was driving, according to the department.

As a result of the discovery of the drugs in the lady’s vehicle, the sheriff’s office decided to execute a search warrant at the residence where the detectives had seen the woman leaving earlier, according to the department.
