Following the concert hall shooting in Moscow, Russia observes a day of mourning for victims.

In a video statement that was aired on Saturday, Vladimir Putin acknowledged what he referred to as a “barbaric terrorist attack” that occurred in Ukraine. He also offered his deepest sympathies and announced Sunday to be a national day of mourning.

According to him, the criminals had “attempted to conceal themselves and move towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side to cross the border.”

In addition to denying any connection [shooting in moscow] to the attack, Ukraine has issued a warning that Russia may use it as a reason to increase the intensity of its invasion with Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Belarus’ ambassador to Russia said special services helped Russia stop “terrorists” from crossing the border Friday night.
